Paladino Concrete Creations developed and implemented a plan for improving the streetscaping, sidewalks, and driveways outside Montefiore New Rochelle Hospital in New Rochelle, N.Y. The work included excavation and disposal of existing features, the installation of concrete sidewalks and driveways, hot mix asphalt where required, pouring sidewalks and driveways, installation of stone, granite, and concrete curb, installation of new lighting, furnishing and installing a power feed system to support the lighting, and improving existing pedestrian facilities.
Paladino Concrete Creations went up against the challenges presented by the cold winter months. Dipping temperatures, ice, and snow all impact the installation of these materials, not to mention impact overall working conditions. Despite the climate challenges, Paladino Concrete Creations safely completed the project by deadline without going over the budget, ensuring that a vital New Rochelle health center remained fully accessible to patients and visitors.
