The City of Yonkers and FEMA hired Paladino Concrete Creations to install pavers, concrete curbs and sidewalks, planting, high-quality and weather-resistant Ipe wood decking, asphalt concrete paving, and pedestrian lighting and to conduct site excavation along the city’s waterfront. FEMA awarded Yonkers a grant for this work since Superstorm Sandy in October 2012 compromised the waterfront’s lighting and electrical system.

Paladino Concrete Creations’ work on this project, which began in April 2019, intends to beautify and restore the areas of Yonkers’ waterfront that have yet to fully recover from Sandy’s impacts. Constant communication between Paladino Concrete Creations and The City of Yonkers has ensured that all work is thoroughly completed, on schedule, in ways that satisfy the client’s demands.
