Eastchester Public School contracted Paladino Concrete Creations to install bleachers with a press box at its outdoor track and field. Paladino Concrete Creations also focused on retaining walls, asphalt paving, site excavations, concrete footings with slab, and electrical upgrades for the scoreboard and intercom system.
Although unexpected storm flooding destroyed ongoing air work, Paladino Concrete Creations still finished Eastchester Public School’s bleacher installation project three weeks ahead of schedule. Additionally, when the client expanded the project’s initial scope, Paladino Concrete Creations quickly and carefully revised its schedule to stay within the established parameters and meet the client’s needs.
When this project required a larger budget than first anticipated, Paladino Concrete Creations decided to give back to the children of the Eastchester community and contribute to the cause. Although public contributions from donors and sports club sponsors came short of the project’s financial needs, Paladino Concrete Creations recognized – and offered a solution for – the urgent need for the community’s public high school to boast the safest, most modern athletic structures possible.
