The Nanuet High School Learning Commons project by PCC showcases our expertise in blending construction excellence with academic sensitivity. Starting during the school session, we balanced demolition with noise control to minimize disruption. This project was designed to
promote outdoor learning for students. It was a flagship project and first of its kind. This space features 12 catch basins, two Bio retention ponds, and an innovative concrete learning board with a veneer finish. It includes three advanced shade systems and a serene sitting area with four large stone slab benches. We also poured 2 different colored concrete sidewalks, adding aesthetic appeal. One of our achievements was installing a state-of-the-art fountain from Florida, requiring meticulous footing and setup. Through innovative solutions and expert execution, PCC has transformed the Learning Commons into a functional, aesthetically pleasing space that enhances the educational experience.
